Is Cleveland really on the "Fast Track"?

Many people have heard about the new "high speed" train that is going to be built so passengers can ride from Cleveland to Columbus. This project is projected to cost over $400 million and has yet to become very popular among Clevelanders. Although having a train that can run from Cleveland to Columbus may sound like a good idea, there seem to be more disadvantages. For one, the high speed train only goes 79 miles per hour and will not be going that speed the whole time. In fact, it would be faster to travel by car. Those in charge of the projects do say that in the future, the train may be able to reach speeds up to 110 mph when it has it's own track. A lot of people also feel that this train will not have enough riders. For one, its faster and more convenient to drive to Columbus because you will have a car when you reach your destination. If you take the train, you would have to take public transportation or a taxi around town. Also, I heard something that the train's hours of operations would not accommodate riders looking to go there and back in the same day. I would love to find out more information on the train if anyone has any. Do you think this train is worth the money?
